Ab Montu Bolega

Kyunki Bin Bole Ab Nahi Chalega  #AbMontoBolega
This campaign is a voice of India, voice of our Nation, of the citizens for a better India.

Ab Monto Bolega, and Zaroor Bolega, India as a country has given each one of us the right to exercise our power. Power in a right manner, power which can be used to uplift someone, power which can do away with corruption in our country. Power that can be used to make India as they say “ Sone ki Chidiya”.
I as a citizen of the country am extremely fortunate to be part of a democratic nation and not just that I am also glad to be born in a country where we welcome people of all caste and creed, and where guests are welcomed with a slogan “ Athithi Devo Bhava”, Such are the values of my country and yet people say India is a poor country. Is money the only reason why they call it so, or is there more to this.
I, as a youth believe there is something beyond money that leads to this adjective to describe our country, and what I see as a reason is the growing corruption. With the growing corruption, the rich are only getting richer and that the poor are still where they were. Why this discrimination, when we are all the children to the same mother India? The only answer I get again is corruption. I personally believe that corruption is due to insecurity, the insecurity of losing power and then being back to a normal routine.
Corruption is an epidemic diseased that has caused major damage to our country, and this needs no qualified medical practitioners to eradicate this, all it needs is the support and willpower of the citizens of our country, so that together we can remove this disease from the roots.
Today, I see corruption everywhere, when I say everywhere, I mean it in literal terms, for school admissions, for college admissions, for jobs, for getting myself into social work. I mean, where is the end to this, and who is causing it to spread so much. Let’s look at our own selves, our own house, where this prevails, and we do not even notice it. Today, when I want admission to a Tier I college, I am ready to pay a huge chunk of money and get myself associate to the institute brand name, even though I know, I don’t deserve to be there, for the marks that show on my mark sheet. This is how, I say we individuals start corruption; we are ready to pay that huge amount of money and take the seat of a candidate who deserves to be there, but lost it in the race of money.
Guys, let’s do away with this power game, let’s use this power for better causes, that have left our nation still at the stage of a developing country, let’s move upwards and make it a developed country. Corruption needs to go away and make space for equality and a happy nation. I use my power today to stop corruption in every walk of life, from school to work, are you using it in the right way?

Ab Monto bol raha hai....kya aap sun rahe hain?

Parachute Advansed Body Lotion - Bring Back The Touch

This post is a part of the IndiBlogger Happy Hour Campaign in association with Parachute Advanced Body Lotion

Love alone can survive is what I used to believe but it is not true is what life has made me realize. Although I still go by the fact that love is very important in any relationship but it is also true that there are many other things that build a relationship. Love is certainly one of them but it's not the only one. There is trust, faith, care and also touch that strengthens the relationship.

Here is a little story of my friends Raj and Alisha who everyone thought were the perfect couple and loved each other to the moon and back (as they say). Theirs was a love marriage so obviously there was a lot of love and this is what made people think and talk so much about it. They seemed like the perfect couple, back then in college they matched the color of their clothes, ate together or simply put they were always seen together.
But as it's said once you get married it's not love that keeps the relation going and in a culture like ours where the girl just doesn't get married to the boy but to the whole family, there was a lot that they had to go through. Adjusting with different family values, different cultural and religious norms is not easy, the two of them went through all of it. No doubt they survived all taunts and all the "tannas" but that spark that they used to have went missing!
The love no doubt was there but it's that passion, that spark which is vital for any relationship was found missing. They had got so busy with their lives that they did not even realize that they were not the perfect couple that they used to be. They needed that GENTLE TOUCH in their life.
Then it was that day when all of us (our old college gang) went to meet them on their 2nd Marriage Anniversary, we reminded them of what a perfect couple they used to be and that's when they realized that they needed to bring back that touch in their relation and the cutest moment was when Raj went on his knees and held Alisha's hand like the old college days and kissed it with so much love.

So it's really important to love a person but to have that passion is also equally important. This is what keeps a relation going. Get back that touch in your lives too-  #BringBackTheTouch

My beautiful home

Hello everyone, this post is a part of an IndiBlogger Campaign in association with Porcelanosa

Procelanosa has variety of products to choose from that can make your home look very beautiful. We all like doing our bit for our home, don't we? If I were given a choice I would choose to do up my home all over again with products from Procelanosa.

It's true that it is family and love that makes four corners a home but I am sure that you will agree with me that who wouldn't love having a house as luxurious as that of Ambani or Shahrukh Khan. We all would, right? So Procelanosa has given all bloggers this lovely chance of designing ourdream home with their varied products.

So here is what I would include in my dream home:

Floor Tiles: anti-slip tiles

Oxford Antracita Antislip 14,3 x 90 cm

Why this? Because currently I have marble flooring and I often tend to slip. To be honest, all this while I didn't even know there were tiles that could prevent you from slipping but hey Procelanosa had them and yes they are perfect for me.

Wall Tiles: Xlight Tiles

Code Beige Nature 300 x 100 cm

They are pretty and nice. I like how they look and I think they are very trendy and would go well with my flooring that I have selected from Procelanosa

Next is Kitchen, this is my favorite place. I love eating and cooking food, So I will ensure I choose the best for my Dream Kitchen.

Toilet for Babli

Toilet for Babli
Babli is a young girl from a remote area in our country, and today what she is asking for is not money, not a job, not for an expensive dress or not for a cheese burst pizza, all she is asking for is a place where she can attend what they commonly say is the nature’s call, which is a human requirement. I mean today do we have control over something as silly as this? No right? So then why do we let go or just ignore issues like these for people who cannot afford it, why can’t the rich donate some money for a human need than spending it for their kitty parties. Why can’t the women today see, what the other women is going through and why is that we are able to do very little for them

Babli today is asking for a helping hand from the society and is asking for nothing but just proper sanitation facility so that she does not go to the local public toilet where there are many people, and where she needs to wait in a queue. She is asking for this, so that the next time she goes she does not fear that a tiger from the jungle behind is going to drag her away in the dark and she will lose her life.
I can only imagine what people go through when there are denied the most essential requirement. Domex is doing a wonderful job by promoting this issue and bringing this to the light of the government today.

Let us all join hands together and support this social cause or to put it is simple words, a need of every individual.Babli will not just improve the condition of her family by asking for this support but she will be able to help millions of other girls like her who are not even aware of this basic right of an individual. It will also help us in improving the health condition of our country and make India a place where all citizens are working together and improving the condition of the country jointly.

With proper sanitation facilities we can uplift the development of women in our society as they are the most affected with issues like these and are ashamed to even get these issues to the notice of the public as they shy away from this and feel that they don’t deserve this in a male dominated society.

Let us as women today uplift the women of our society and be at par with the men in all aspects.

Let’s take this pledge to  get away with all and orthodox thoughts of our society and let us build a better and new India, where women are equally respected. You can bring about the change in the lives of millions of kids, thereby showing your support for the Domex Initiative. All you need to do is “click” on the “Contribute Tab” on www.domex.in and Domex will contribute Rs.5 on your behalf to eradicate open defecation, thereby helping kids like Babli live a dignified life.

This post is for the Domex campaign to support Toilet for Babli.
